Do you crave a weekend away from the ‘busyness’ of life? Would you like to get away from work, domesticity and demands, to find a place to ‘be you’?
This women-only retreat takes place at Ringsfield Hall, a beautiful country house in acres of forest and gardens. Within the grounds is an art studio for you to create, camp fires for hot cacao, reader’s nook for escapism time, and even a couple of colourful peacocks.
“This weekend was the perfect blend of relaxation, fun and friendship, the ideal get-away-from-it-all’. I implore you to come to this yoga weekend, you will drive home feeling like a new person” Susan Parish
The Yoga is a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa, with a splash of sunset yin. There will be two yoga sessions a day suitable for all levels of yogis including beginners, and more powerful sessions for those with a deeper practise wanting to advance their practise. This is a retreat, so the yoga practises will be exploring a little deeper, looking at how yoga can help you in your daily life, using yoga as a form of exercise and therapy for the mind and soul as much as the body. On Saturday night we are extremely pleased to announce we have the very lovely Ali Gunning, musician and sound practitioner, joining us for a ‘pyjama sound bath’ in our yoga studio. If you have never experienced a sound bath before, rest-assured, this is an event not to be missed!
This weekend can be whatever you want to make it, fabulous and fun, or tranquil and exploratory – we are there to give you space – and to hold it for you too.

The Sound Bath:
On Saturday night we are lucky enough to have Ali Gunning, sound healing practitioner, coming to treat us with a sound bath. A sound bath is a form of therapy where instruments, such as the gong is played in a therapeutic way to bring about relaxation. The term gong bath means that you are bathed in sound waves, there is no water involved, or clothes removed.
Ali came to sound through practise & teaching of yoga, falling into a fascination with sound and the power of vibration. She now specialises in working with the gong, for self healing & meditation. She is passionate about sharing sound, breath & movement practices which can bring transformation in all areas of life, all layers of our being. Its a truly wonderful experience.
