This weekend retreat is well-timed after the Christmas craziness and just after Januarys ‘Blue-Monday’, a time when we may have sunk into a winter sludge. This retreat is designed to snuggle, support, and inspire you into re-tuning mind-sets and body practises to help you make the most out of a fresh year, where you could make anything happen!
The purpose of Jackie’s retreats are always self-exploration and self-care. For this retreat the emphasis will be on great wholesome food, mindful yoga to move the body, and mental space to process what your personal and professional needs are for the coming year.
We will be focusing on opening up the body, stretching, building energy and improving focus. There will be inspirational practises and engaging workshops based around these themes.
Who is it suitable for?
Jackie Heffer-Cooke is skilled at providing adaptations to suit different levels of asana (poses and postures) ability. The yoga Jackie teaches is based on the eight limbs of yoga, so mindfulness, breath and affirmation is equally important as movement. Jackie teaches intuitively with humour, knowledge, authenticity and warmth.
