Over the last three years the Orange Grove Retreat Tribe has grown with retreats in Norfolk, Suffolk, Sardinia, Tuscany and Thailand. This mini-retreat is specifically for those wanting to explore yoga, not just the postures (asanas) but all the 8 limbs of yoga including meditation and mindfulness. It is also a great opportunity for those with an interest in an Orange Grove Retreat, or any of the training’s that Jackie holds, to meet her and find out more.

£40 and please bring a vegetarian sharing dish to share with your fellow yogi’s.
This exploration day is fantastic for those learning the basics of yoga, refreshing their practise, or wanting to learn safe practise. We will explore the 8 limbs of yoga, breathing, meditation, postures, and yoga flow in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The morning will be focused mindfully on good and safe practise with a Hatha blend of sun salutation, warriors and a few tradition balances – so an excellent opportunity to learn correctly from the start, or to carefully explore basic postures to protect against injury. This is ideal for anyone wanting to start a yoga practice, refresh their yoga practice or make sure their yoga practise does not cause them any injury in the long term.
Over lunch there is a great opportunity to say hi to fellow past retreaters, to meet those you may be on a retreat with in the coming year, or to simply learn more about the Orange Grove Retreats, or Jackie’s ZenMuma training’s and whether a retreat or further training might be the right thing for you. Of course you can just simply come and enjoy this mini-retreat, learn lots about yoga and some eat some lunch with lovely people.
After lunch is a session of yin and tonic – lovely restorative yoga so you can sink into the rest of your Sunday totally relaxed and in the right frame of mind for the coming week.
“Jackie, my daughter and I had such a wonderful day at the yoga mini retreat and although we thanked you, we wanted to say ‘thank you’ again.
We both enjoy keeping fit and whilst Lucy is a beginner in Yoga I am a beginner, beginner and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! In just one session I began to understand the benefits yoga can bring. You explained and demonstrated everything superbly and we both hope to book a series of sessions. You do a great job!” – Beverley Rackham, Norwich
“I love Jackie’s retreats and go on them whenever I can. Her style is pragmatic, and dynamic, and she has the compassionate ability to allow women to explore their personal space, nourish their needs and she holds the retreat space so everyone finds their space to relax, re-balance and rejuvenate. Come along, I will probably see you there!” – Amy Kingston
