If you’re trying to get pregnant or planning to have a baby soon, learning about fertility nutrition can be an important first step. This practical and fun workshop, Feed Your Fertility, will be held on Saturday 19th October from 10am to Midday, with Nutritional Therapist Catherine Jeans. Catherine specialises in helping to support women and couples to conceive and have a healthy pregnancy, through dietary and nutritional guidance to support optimum pre-natal health for women and men. Cost £30 per person, or £50 per couple. Please contact reception to book your place by calling or you can go to our contact page.
What to Expect from the Fertility Nutrition Workshop?
During this fun and interactive two hour workshop, Catherine will lead you through the key principles of fertility nutrition, empowering you to make vital changes and additions to your diet to support optimum fertility. Perhaps you are thinking about starting a family, or maybe you have been trying to get pregnant for some time or going through fertility treatment – this workshop will enable you to help yourself towards improved health, better nutrient status and support optimum fertility through the use of food.
The workshop will begin with a discussion of the key principles for supporting male and female fertility, with simple and practical suggestions that you can incorporate into your everyday diet. This will then be followed by practical demonstrations (and tasting) of delicious recipes, foods to try and meal ideas that you can begin as soon as you get home.
This workshop is not about creating a complicated, difficult to follow diet. Catherine will show you how to make easy switches, additions and simple recipes, that will enable you to take control of your wellbeing and support your chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy.
Why is fertility nutrition so important?
Research shows us that good nutrition during pre-conception and pregnancy can have a positive impact upon the chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy. One such study by The University of Surrey showed that couples who previously had difficulty conceiving, had up to 80% success rate in getting pregnant after making changes to their diet and lifestyle, alongside some nutritional supplements. By making simple changes to your diet, and eliminating foods which could have a negative impact on your hormonal balance and overall health, enables you to naturally support your body’s ability to conceive, whether you are trying naturally or going through fertility treatment.
Places are limited on this fertility nutrition workshop, so book early to avoid disappointment. Cost: £30 per person, or £50 per couple. Please call our reception on or go to our contact page.
