This one-day yoga retreat, set in the heart of Norwich in a beautiful peaceful centre next to the river, is a yogic blend of hatha, vinyasa with a splash of yin and tonic. This mini-retreat will provide the breath, the space and the time you need to enter into the true feeling of our festive season; family, relaxation and love.
Our morning breath and body practice will be uplifting and purposeful, focused on positive mindful energy. The afternoon’s practise will be more centred on heart openers, encouraging love, giving, and recieving in a season where this is the focus. The aim is for you to leave the day feeling peaceful and calm, ready to enjoy the week.
This day is suitable for all. Jackie Heffer-Cooke: Yoga Expert is skilled at providing adaptations to suit different levels of asana (poses and postures) ability. The yoga Jackie teaches is based on the eight limbs of yoga, so mindfulness, breath and affirmation is equally important as movement. The purpose of Jackie’s workshops are self-care.
We will provide all yoga mats, cushions, blocks and straps. Please do bring a warm snuggly blanket, an eye mask and yoga bolster if you have them, and feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.
Please bring a veggie dish to share. We will provide warm winter herbal teas, soft music and flickering candles 🙂
